and Turf Management Instructor
Join the Northeastern Junior College team in Sterling, Colorado, as the Golf Course Grounds Superintendent and Turf Management Instructor. Individual hired for this position will serve as grounds superintendent (18-hole public golf course) and teach turf management and related courses. Associates degree in horticulture or related field required plus 3 years paid work experience in golf industry. Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, located just outside of Denver Colorado is America’s largest and most state of the art professional stadium and fields complex. DSGP is the home of the Colorado Rapids Soccer club, the site of the Mile High Music Festival, and host numerous national soccer and lacrosse tournaments. We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team in the upcoming season.

Sports Fields: 2 Sand Based 100% Kentucky Blue Grass fields, 21 native 100% Bluegrass fields, 2 synthetic fields

Sports and events: Soccer, Lacrosse, Football, Rugby, Ultimate Frisbee, and a music festival

Job description: Extensively assist in the maintenance of all sports fields which includes mowing, fertilizing, top dressing, painting, layout, aeration, renovation, seeding, and sod work.
